DOROTHY BANKS CHARITY GOLF DAY 2022
Awesome day for our 40th Anniversary Dorothy Banks Day and our chosen breast cancer charity ‘Be Uplifted’.
Huge thanks to all members, volunteers, committee and local businesses for such strong support. Special thanks to our women members, guests and Patron Jill Adams (92 years).

WYNNUM CHALLENGE 2nd August 2022

It was a beautiful sunny day for our Redcliffe Women to host the Wynnum Challenge the “Terry Termite” trophy. After Covid and wet weather issues, we were finally rewarded with great weather and a good turnout. A lovely morning tea spread was enjoyed by the all the players and the raffle prize from Redcliffe Garden centre was well supported. 26 women from Wynnum enjoyed the day making up a field of 84 players. Redcliffe held on by 4 points to retain the trophy.
4BBB long and short markers, & May Thomson Trophy was played on 12th July.A fun day…

Women's Pennants
The 2022 Women's Pennants season has completed. Our Redcliffe Silver2 and Bronze2 teams acquitted themselves well considering the rain interruptions and wet courses.
Congratulations to the Captains and players and huge thank you to the caddies who helped out during the competition. Thanks too, to the Golf Club for their continuing support of Women's Golf.
All results have been updated on the Pennants page and also posted on the noticeboard.
The Pennants v Caddy day will be held on 23rd June.
Bentwood Trophy - Thursday 9th June
Our team of 25 women travelled to Buderim to contest the Bentwood Trophy. It was a beautiful day out although absolutely freezing to start. The course is very picturesque and looked great. Fairways were tricky and greens were lightning fast. We were made very welcome and had a good time and tried hard, but Headland had the advantage on their home course. Our Redcliffe winners on the day were Vicki Pollock and Margie Martin and Mary Piechowski scored an NTP.
Well done to the Redcliffe team and let's do it again at home in 2023

Congratulations finally hitting pay-dirt with both our Silver and Bronze teams coming away with wins today. Silver had an impressive 4/1 win against Sandgate at RQ and Bronze equally great with a 4/1 against Sandgate at Nudgee.

The women's Pennant season has begun with a game on our home course. Our Silver team won with a resounding 4 games to 1 against Redland Bay. Our Bronze team had a square against RQ. Next week's silver team is at Sandgate, with Bronze at Wantima. Good Luck and play well Ladies.
