Junior Cnics

Term 3 Clinics and Competitions start - 18th July 2020

Over the last couple of weeks the Covid-19 restrictions have been easing which is excellent news!! 

Redcliffe Golf Club have decided to start fresh with our Junior program and recommence the clinic and competitions when school starts for term 3! This means that the clinics will be back to normal down the short practice fairway, the competiton will follow for the 3, 8 and 11 holes. We will even be allowed back in the club house for presentations!!!! 

We are excited to get back into the full swing of things and hopefully finish the year strong with competitions! 

For the children that compete in the 3, 8 and 11 hole compeitions the Tuesday 4pm session will also start back on the 14th of July with Hannah! She will be aiming to help the kids over the hour play the first three holes but look at more course management rather than swing changes! 

We hope everyone has a safe holiday! and can't wait to see you all back in July!

Junior Clinics and Competition - Suspended Immediately

Dear Juniors, parents and members,

With deep sadness, we have been informed by the PGA, MyGolf and Golf Australia today to suspend all MyGolf club programs immediately which includes our: 

- Clinics run on Tuesdays, and Saturdays.

- Sub Junior Competitions (3,8 and 11 Holes). 

As Redcliffe GC is a MyGolf recognised centre, this is our way to play a pro-active part in reducing the spread of the Covid-19 virus and protecting the MyGolf and wider community Golf Australia and the PGA have taken the decision to suspend all MyGolf club programs effective immediately until May 16, 2020.

The health and safety of all involved with MyGolf including participants, parents and instructors as well as the wider community is the main focus of both Golf Australia and the PGA during this challenging period.

I wanted to remind you all that the Sub Junior Club Championships are coming up! The first round begins Saturday 17th August!

ATTENTION - The 1st of June the Clinic will start at 12:30pm instead of 11:45am (still going for an hour). However, there will be no Holes for the bigger kids due to there being a shot gun start at 12pm therefore being no space for our juniors to get on :(. Sorry but see you at the clinic!

The Winners and Runners Up of the Autumn Cup Trophy will be kept a secret until Presentation Night in December! But we have counted all scores and we do know who the winners are....

The Holidays and not too far away now, so please come on down and join us for a lesson or some holes as we have seen a slight decrease in numbers lately. 

We are back into our second term of Clinics and Comps. Even though some days look a little wet, we still come down and encourage you too still bring that smile and enthusiasm we all love to see!

NO Clinic or Comps for the school holidays - back again on the 27th of April! Have a great Easter break and don't eat too many easter eggs!! :)

Next Week (30/03/2019) AGAIN is going to be our 2nd Round of the Autumn Cup. This is due to missing out on our competition last week (16/03/2019). The following week will be Family Fun Day Foursomes - so please bring your friends or family members down to join the juniors. And remember they are FREEEEEE! Next Week is the First Round of the Autumn Cup - PLEASE make sure that everyone playing holes is here for this as at the Presentation Night, the winners of this tournament will be awarded formally. Thank you! :)

ATTENTION:

Parents, Grandparents, Family and Friends;

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE – Pay for your kid’s clinic lessons ($6) and if they play holes afterwards, they can pay at the putting green tables (to Jade) or in the office either before, during or after their lesson which is 11:45am to 12:45pm on Saturdays.

This is just a gentle reminder as we have had some people not paying on the day which makes things difficult on our end.
