Australian Boys' Interstate Teams Matches

17 April 2018

Despite not playing in the final match, Tyler Duncan is a significant part of the Qld team that won the 2018 Interstate Boys' Team  Championship. After NSW dug themselves out of a hole to win 3-2 and go ahead, Qld squeaked home on the final hole to win by the same score and take the title on matches for and against.

A great feather in Tyler's cap! Well done!

Day 3

A great morning for the Queenslanders with a 4.5 -0.5 win over SA including a 4/3 win to Tyler Duncan. Following the morning matches, QLD and NSW were at the top of the ladder with Qld just in front on matches won.

In the afternoon matches, Qld are leading in all 5 matches (9 holes to go), while, with 4/5 holes to go, NSW are all square in the match against the ACT.

Four teams sit on top of the table following this afternoon's matches with Qld leading on for and against. In a remarkable match with NSW, 4 matches were halved with the only result being Tyler Duncan's 1 down loss.

Qld play SA and NT on day three.

The girls finished in 3rd place after 2 wins, 2 losses and a half.

Day 2 am.

17/4

After missing the team's 5-0 win yesterday afternoon, Tyler Duncan returned to team this morning and recorded a solid 3 and 2 victory as part of a 5-0 win over Tasmania. That win, the second 5-0 in succession, takes Qld to the top of the table. They take on the tough NSW side this afternoon.

The girls' team had another loss yesterday afternoon but are leading 3/2 in the closing stages this morning.

Day 1

The competition got underway this morning (16/4) with Qld securing a hard fought 3-2 win over Victoria. Unfortunately, one of the Qld losses was a 6/5 hammering of Tyler Duncan in the number 2 position. Understandably, Tyler is being rested this afternoon so let's hope he rebounds well tomorrow.

The Qld Girls' team, which started yesterday, have played three matches for a win, a loss and a draw.
