Well the weather man has not been kind to us in the past few weeks but thank goodness for tennis, cricket and books. I have managed to become a “couch potato” but must admit am now suffering for golf withdrawal syndrome. One thing we can all learn from the tennis players and bring to our golf game is “never give up”
Hopefully February will be fine and the season ahead will have no further upsets.
Opening day is Tuesday 7th February – Looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Mt Coolum / Redcliffe Challenge 8th November
Unfortunately we could not get a shotgun start so the time sheet in on-line. Mt Coolum bus is expected to arrive around 8.00am.We are playing the Mt Coolum ladies in two’s so the bus will be able to leave on time. You might think the time sheet is a bit full (sorry about that) but a big thank to our ladies who are sharing their buggies. 30 Mt Coolum Ladies are invading Redcliffe so please bring your best game on Tuesday 8th!

Handicap——– The new handicap system come into effect on Wednesday 21st September. Golf link is offline Monday & Tuesday – Please check your handicap before your next game —— Ask any committee member if you do not understand the new system especially the “ANCHOR”

Tuesday 15th November Christmas Theme — Once again a buggy parade will be held so get the Christmas bells out of the cupboard.
Presentation Night (our time to dress up and let our hair down) Tuesday 22nd November. Tickets $20.00 available from Chris Sharpe. Hope you all have been practising your “ACTS” Get a table together and look forward to a good time.
Theme for this year is “coloured table” Colours will be allocated when we know numbers.
It has been a great year and I thank you all for being such a good team to work with.

The weather man was not nice to us on Tuesday and very disappointed that the Mount Coolum Ladies did not make it to Redcliffe Will try and reschedule. Some keen golfers braved the elements but I hear got a bit wet and cold.
Hope we can make it to Headlands on Thursday Wynnum / Redcliffe challenge cancelled from earlier in the year will be held on Thursday 27th October at Wynnum.
Melbourne Cup Day is an Open Medley so invite the men of the Club to join us for a good day. Hope you all have been practising your “ACTS” for the presentation night.
